Who Is Joel Shaw?
As a visual storyteller and photographer, Joel specializes in creating imagery and content for individuals, artists and commercial brands.
He combines his background in hyperlocal photography with his original directing styles to build honest visual narratives for viewers. Through his work, Joel strives to communicate the collective energy of live events and the stories that are found within them.
An avid adventurer, his pursuits have taken him around the United States on tour with musicians, major record labels and journalists to photograph concerts, portraits and lifestyle scenes.
Joel is currently based in Nashville, TN. He is available for assignments worldwide. He also welcomes the opportunity to bring his work to a broader audience at festivals and exhibits.
